SANTA BARBARA WINE COUNTRY WORKSHOP

Join award-winning travel photographer Chuck Place for four fun-filled days shooting on location in Santa Barbara's famous wine country, the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley. Capture the color and excitement of harvest in the area made famous by the movie Sideways.

Sunny days will be spent exploring wineries and the diverse activities of the area, photographing everything from vineyards and barrel rooms to farmers market and a miniature horse ranch. Wine tasting will, of course, be on the schedule as will daily presentations and lectures on photographing people, scenics, architecture and events.

A final critique of student work on Sunday will help fine-tune each participants portfolio while boosting confidence and creativity. Chuck Place will use his experience working for such clients as National Geographic, Islands and Smithsonian to demonstrate how he works in diverse situations to produce dramatic imagery.
